Ronald D. Simms Jr., WMS® is an accomplished business growth strategist and financial services professional with more than 17 years of experience spanning banking, financial consulting, and entrepreneurship. His career reflects a consistent commitment to financial empowerment, strategic leadership, and designing scalable solutions for individuals, startups, and established businesses.
Ron’s discipline and drive were evident early on. While completing his studies at the University of the District of Columbia, he balanced three jobs while actively participating in the school’s music performance program—an early testament to his work ethic and pursuit of excellence.
His professional journey began at Kingdom Builders Financial as an Intermediary Capital Advisor, where he sourced and structured capital for real estate transactions of all sizes. That role sparked a thriving career in financial services, expanding into banking, investment consulting, and interim CFO roles with fintech and financial services companies. In these leadership capacities, Ron built strong financial foundations for growth through budgeting, forecasting, and investor readiness.
In 2013, Ron joined Wells Fargo Bank, where he quickly advanced into leadership. As a branch manager, he oversaw a team of 10+ professionals—including specialty bankers and strategic partners—while managing $300M in deposits and $1.6B in investable assets. Later, as a New Customer Acquisition Consultant, he supported area presidents in Philadelphia and Montgomery County, driving $300M in annual revenue growth and managing more than $6B in consumer and business deposits annually. His career has since expanded into broader leadership roles across financial institutions, with a focus on small business and commercial real estate financing—including hotel and hospitality projects, construction financing, real estate investment, and factoring solutions.
